Uric arthritis or gout Part IV

Treatment of uric arthritis or gout
Treatment of uric arthritis or gout

Since uric arthritis or gout is usually a hereditary disease, it cannot be cured. Uric arthritis can be treated only in order to slow down or prevent the progression of the disease and mitigate its accompanying problems.
Treatment of uric arthritis consists primarily in easing inflammation in the joints and pain. In addition, treatment reduces the production of uric acid, prevents its precipitation of its salt in the form of crystals and enhances the secretion in the kidneys, so that the amount of uric acid in the blood would be within the normal range.
